Junior Research Group within the SFB 655
With in the SFB 655 a Junior Research Group has been established October 1, 2006.
Together with the officially beginning of the SFB 655 on July 1st, 2005, the position of a Group Leader was announced internationally. An amazing number of highly-qualified researchers applied for the offered position. Four candidates were short-listed and were invited to come to Dresden for the panel review on November 23, 2005.
The candidate for the post in question was selected together with SFB members, DFG members and reviewers chosen from the DFG.
The panel review with public talks of the candidates took place at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics, Pfotenhauerstraße 108, Dresden.

The DFG grant for the Junior Research Group with the title "Tissue formation involving stem/progenitor cell research and animal experimentation" runs for 4 years.
