Press coverage on stem cell research is comparatively high. But what are stem cells? What kind of stem cells are known? What is so special on these cells and are they used for therapies today? What about ethic aspects on stem cell research, especially research work on human embryonic stem cells? How do german laws restrict research on human embryonic stem cells? This public meeting will try to find you answers to these questions.
